The Battle of Aiken Reenactment Civil War festival February 21, 2026
The 32nd Annual Battle of Aiken Civil War Reenactment is a three-day living history festival held each February in Aiken, South Carolina.
We were swept away by the dramatic battle staged on a historically accurate field—where cannons boom, muskets crack, and horses thunder past! It was like stepping back in time wandering through lively camps and tents filled with music, dance, saber clashes, cavalry, blacksmithing, 1860s fashions, and hands-on history. We explored an authentic 19th-century log cabin, schoolhouse, jail, and a charming country store tents for a truly unforgettable journey into the past.
