Bisbee, AZ Ride 11/04/2022
The Arizona November weather did not disappoint us for our weekend ride to Bisbee, AZ. Clear sunny skies and cool temperatures made for perfect riding conditions (with leathers.) We stopped at Tombstone, AZ for a lunch break at the rustic Crystal Palace Saloon and took a walk through the busy streets of the "Town Too Tough to Die.” Our next destination was the "Double G Alpaca Ranch" in Sierra Vista. (It was fun and informative - The host showed the process of how alpaca wool is made). One of the alpacas spit on Carol's face - "I laughed my ass off!"
We made it to Bisbee just in time for Dinner, took a night stroll up picturesque Main Street to enjoy the shops and the old architecture, and ended the night with a visit to the Old Bisbee Brewing Company before we went to our hotel. We stayed at the historic and allegedly haunted Copper Queen Hotel built in 1898. In the morning we checked out the old cars and antique shops on Erie Street and had breakfast at the Bisbee Breakfast Club before heading home.
