The Three Sisters: TX Routes 335, 336, & 337 06/01/2024
The Twisted Sisters, also known as the Three Sisters, are three roads in Texas hill country—TX 335, TX 336 and TX 337—northwest of San Antonio. It is a legendary route known for its rugged terrain and thrilling curves.
We rode "The Three Sisters" often advertised as the best riding in the state of Texas. This trio, is a fun ride in the heart of Hill Country in an inverted mountain range that features a system of large roaming hills ("they" call mountains" lol. We're from Arizona, I'll show you mountains!)
As we headed west towards the hill country we stopped in Bandera, TX for breakfast at the Old Spanish Trail restaurant (AKA O.S.T). After breakfast we reached the first sister road, 337 in Leakey, TX. We stopped at the FRIO Canyon Motorcycle Shop, a popular stop known as the Twisted Sisters headquarters that features apparel and merchandise, and also has a bar & Grill with live music. We rode through Camp Wood up to sister road 335, continued on sister road 336 and came across a BBQ shack called The HOG PEN where we had a quick bite to eat. After completing the Three Sisters loop, we were back to FRIO Canyon Motorcycle Shop for a cool beer and some swag.
